I really cant say enough about the care I received from Kamilla and Ann-Sophie throughout my pregnancy and birth. As a foreigner in Madrid seeking a particular birth experience, I could not have hoped for a better team to guide me through. From the very beginning, Kamilla was the perfect blend of professional and personal. I knew that I was in expert, experienced hands, and yet she made me feel like my baby was uniquely important and special. Our consultations were always relaxed and never rushed, with plenty of time to talk things through. I completely trusted her commitment to natural birth, so much so that, when it turned out that my birth had to deviate from my original plans, I never doubted that she was helping me to make the best possible decisions for my own health and that of my son. I felt safe and cared-for every step of the way. Likewise, Ann-Sophie was a kind, supportive presence throughout my birth experience and beyond. It has been a pleasure to share this most important experience of my life with such knowledgeable, compassionate, professional women. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

an dieser Stelle möche ich mich noch einmal ganz ganz herzlich bei Euch für Eure tolle Betreuung und Unterstützung während Schwangerschaft und Geburt unseres Babys bedanken!
Zunächst hat mir die Aussicht, mein zweites Kind in Spanien zur Welt bringen zu müssen, etwas Angst gemacht. Ein anderes Gesundheitssystem mit völlig anderen Protokollen, Betreuung mit sprachlichen Unsicherheiten, ... Aber dann stellte sich dies als absoluter Glücksfall heraus. Sowohl die Betreuung in der Schwangerschaft als auch und vor allem während der Geburt waren so viel mehr als ich mir nach meiner ersten Geburt in Deutschland erhofft hatte.
Die absolut persönliche und individuelle Betreuung war eine große Hilfe. Vor allem schon vor der Geburt zu wissen, wer einem in diesem speziellen Moment zur Seite steht, war für mich ein absoluter Luxus, der so in Deutschland nicht gegeben gewesen wäre.
Auch die sehr detaillierten Informationen über den Ablauf der Geburt, die möglichen Interventionen und die Gewissheit, dass man in jeder Situation mitentscheiden kann, ist etwas, was nicht selbstverständlich ist und hat mir in der ganzen Zeit sehr viel Sicherheit gegeben.
Das alles, aber vor allem die persönliche, ruhige und vertrauensvolle Begleitung unter der Geburt haben dieses Ereignis für uns so großartig gemacht.

La atención y el trato antes, durante y después del parto han sido inmejorables. La pasión por su trabajo y su sensibilidad forman la combinación perfecta. Gracias a las dos por todo!

The news that my husband and I were expecting a baby came as a (very happy!) surprise; not knowing Madrids healthcare system, I came across a review of Dr. Kamilla Hallier whilst researching online. We cannot speak highly enough of her and Ann-Sophie; they both clearly love their work and their experience, professionalism and passion were greatly appreciated, especially as this was my first pregnancy. It was also great to find that we shared many similar views of pregnancy and childbirth, especially as I had read several comments about the more traditional approach generally adopted in Spain. My husband and I both travel a lot and had demanding schedules to work around. Dr. Hallier was nothing but flexible and accommodating, making every effort to fit my appointments in around this. Dr. Hallier provided support and care above and beyond what I expected, keeping in touch in between appointments and always being available to answer any questions or address any concerns. The birthing room facilities are amazing and made a real difference during my labour; my husband and I both appreciated the privacy, dedicated care and various birthing aids available. Ann-Sophie was fantastic at keeping me calm and focused, and Dr. Hallier was brilliant in delivering a healthy and happy baby girl, in quicker time than anticipated! They are a great team and I felt in very safe hands throughout the whole 9 months. Our experience was excellent, far better than we could have hoped for and superior to the care available to us elsewhere, including in our home countries. We have continued to be in touch with both Dr. Hallier and Ann-Sophie several weeks after the birth, and they have been so helpful in organising post-natal support. All in all, we really appreciated everything Dr. Hallier and Ann-Sophie did for us, and best of all, feel we have made some friends in the process! Thank you both so much!

Vielen Dank für die tolle Unterstützung bei der Geburt unseres dritten Sohnes. Ich konnte Euch voll und ganz vertrauen und mich auf mich und mein Baby konzentrieren. Auch dank der guten Unterstützung während der Schwangerschaft. Ich habe mich schnell erholt und wir haben ein sehr entspanntes und fröhliches Baby. Besonders in Erinnerung bleiben werden meinem Mann und mir auch die Gespräche nach der Geburt, die uns sehr gut getan haben.
Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich Euch in Madrid gefunden habe. Auch nach der Schwangerschaft fühle ich mich jetzt sehr gut beraten und versorgt!

Liebe Kamilla, liebe Ann Sophie! Ein großes Dankeschön für die hervorragende und wunderbare Betreuung während Schwangerschaft, Geburt und post partum! Ich habe mich immer gut aufgehoben gefühlt und immer gut beraten für all meine Fragen und Sorgen. Mit allerlei Stillproblemen konfrontiert habe ich durch viele Tipps, Hilfestellungen und auch seelisch moralischer Unterstützung die holprige Strecke überwunden und kann nun ohne Probleme stillen! Es war eine wirklich schöne Zeit der Betreuung und ich bin etwas traurig dass es schon vorbei ist. Ihr seid ein tolles Team!

Auch wenn im Moment keine Kinder geplant sind, bin ich doch sehr froh, hier in Madrid, eine so kompetente Frauenärztin gefunden zu haben; jemanden, der aktiv zuhört, einen ganz wunderbar berät und bei dem ich das Gefühl habe, ganz wunderbar aufgehoben zu sein. die Geburt von Mia liegt nun über ein Jahr zurück und dennoch liebe ich es über die Geburt zu berichten und erinnere mich als sei es gestern gewesen. Die Schwangerschaftsbetreuung bei dir hat mir stets unheimlich viel Kraft gegeben und mir alle Sorgen bzgl. der Geburt genommen. Heutzutage einen Arzt zu finden, der so sehr mit Leib und Seele seinen Beruf ausübt wie du, ist wahrlich schwer zu finden. Ich bin überzeugt, dass ich meine wunderbare Schwangerschaft, die Geburt und meine rasche Erholung dir und deiner ständigen Unterstützung zu verdanken habe. Ich weiss, dass ich bei dir in den besten Händen bin und das hat bei dem Thema Schwangerschaft und vor allem Geburt sehr hohes Gewicht (Besonders wenn man gewisse Geschichten hört, leider...).

Hace menos de dos meses que di a luz a mi niño y sólo puedo decir q tanto la Dr. hallier como Ann Sophie son dos grandísimas profesionales. El parto se complicó pero, gracias a ellas todo salió bien. Kamilla ha sido un gran apoyo durante el embarazo, atendiendo todas mis dudas e inquietudes por pequeñas que fueran. Me he sentido en todo momento tranquila y muy segura , como en casa. El cariño y la atención son innatos en Kamilla y Ann Sophie. Personalmente recomiendo encarecidamente ponerse en sus manos durante el embarazo porque ¡no hay mejores manos que las suyas! Desde mi experiencia solo puedo decir: ¡gracias a ambas!

To put it simply, as my husband would say, Kamilla is the business! ??We had been seeing a Spanish obstetrician before meeting Dr. Hallier at 25 weeks pregnant (Although we had briefly met a few months back on a quick consultation before she opened IWHCM). Despite the obstetrician being a lovely person, he was old-fashioned in his ways and did not speak English, which was a problem for my husband who can’t speak Spanish very well. With my plan of having a natural birth at jeopardy and my husband essentially feeling left out, we decided to look for another doctor. I stumbled upon Dr. Kamilla’s website after reading several positive reviews and immediately made an appointment. After our first meeting together, we were elated and felt it was meant to be that we had met her once again. ??Dr. Kamilla is enthusiastic, thorough, very knowledgeable, professional and clearly loves what she does. I loved her mentality and outlook on the birthing process and her outgoing personality automatically put my first-time pregnancy jitters at ease. The same can be said about the mid-wife Anne-Sophie, who not only offered excellent prenatal classes, but was the encouraging voice I needed through labour. ??All in all, I couldn't imagine a better and more positive and peaceful birthing experience. With both Kamilla and Anne-Sophie by my side, I felt safe, relaxed and most importantly, in complete control to make the decisions I wanted to. I cannot recommend them enough!
